The North Metro Arts Alliance is working with the City of Westminster on some fun events for the first Westminster Arts Week.
Saturday - September 23 - World Music Showcase - 3 to 8 pm - Historic Westminster - 73rd Ave. between Lowell and Bradburn.
Sunday - September 24 - 30 - Westminster Plein Aire Festival - Aar River Gallery and Historic Westminster - 3707 W. 73rd Ave.

Art Exhibit at Aar River Gallery Sept. 30 - Oct. 28
North Metro Arts Alliance is pleased to announce our First Annual Westminster Plein Air Festival. Entry fee is $45.00, but is free for Artist members of North Metro Arts Alliance. Payable to North Metro Arts Alliance.
ELIGIBILITY:
* Open to any artist using oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel or gouache.
* Participating artist must paint from life, on location. Artists are encouraged to paint within the City of Westminster. Studio work is not allowed.
* Work submitted for should reflect the best quality of your plein air painting.
*. Artists may submit 3 images representative of their best plein air work

Sunday, September 24 - 10 to 5:00 - Check in at Aar River Gallery, 3707 W. 73rd Ave. Westminster, co 80030 - Pay fee and get your painting surface stamped and pick up information ( Alternate date to get surface stamped is Wed. Sept. 27) - List of Historic sites in Westminster provided - List of trails and scenic areas
Friday, September 29 - 10 to 5:00 - Deliver completed, framed paintings to Aar River Gallery to be included in exhibition and judging
Saturday, September 30 - 4 - 8:00. Reception and award presentation Saturday at Aar River Gallery
Sept. 30 to Oct. 28 - Plein Air Art Show will be on display at the Aar River Gallery through October 28.
October 28, from noon to 5:00.- Pick up art work at Aar River Gallery
North Metro Arts Alliance will retain 30 percent of all sales revenue generated throughout the sale with the artist receiving 70%. Commissioned pieces will also be permitted at the above-mentioned rate. Payments for all work sold will be mailed shortly after the exhibition closes
